Jingtian Yang

Jingtian Yang is a Chinese interdisciplinary artist based in London. His practice is rooted in printmaking and expands into installation, sculpture, video, performance and painting. He received his MA in Print from the Royal College of Art. 

Yang’s work explores the relationship between the self, others, and social structures, with a particular focus on intimacy, bodily experience, emotional distance, and the tension between private and public space. Drawing on print-based thinking, he uses processes such as pressure, transfer, repetition, layering, and fragmentation as both material methods and conceptual tools. 

His work has been exhibited in London, including Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, FABLES | Swanfall Art Annual Exhibition 2025 at Mall Galleries, and ArtEvol 2025: Voices from the Undefined at Saatchi Gallery.  

Through expanded printmaking and interdisciplinary practice, Yang examines how individual experience is shaped, mirrored, and interrupted by systems of gaze, attachment, and social expectation.
