"My paintings are born from two places: movement and memory.

Some works begin as a direct emotional response. In these paintings, gesture becomes a language of its own. The body leads, the mind follows, and the canvas becomes a record of rhythm, energy, and feeling.

Other works originate in a more elusive territory: childhood dreams, imagined worlds, fragments of memory, and the strange logic of the subconscious. I am fascinated by the landscapes we create as children, the places we invent, inhabit, and return to in our imagination long after they disappear from reality.

Having worked as a dancer and actress before becoming a painter, I approach painting as a living process rather than a fixed image. Each work is an exploration of presence, intuition, and discovery.

I am interested in the point where personal memory becomes universal, where a private dream can awaken recognition in someone else. Rather than illustrating a story, I create spaces that invite viewers to wander, remember, and imagine.

Works from series such as Hiraki, Dansu, and Kurikaesu explore dreamlike states, early memories, and the boundless imagination of childhood, creating visual environments that feel both familiar and elusive.

For me, painting is both an act of investigation and an act of play. It is a way of returning to places that exist somewhere between reality, memory, and dream"
